Chairman Manfred Wennemer to Resign from the Board

On December 21, 2013, Manfred Wennemer has informed the Sulzer Board and Management, that he has decided to resign from the board for personal reasons as of December 31, 2013.

In accordance with board organization regulations, the duties and responsibilities of the Chairman of the board will be assumed by the Vice Chairman Vladimir Kuznetsov. This will be per January 1, 2014 and on an interim basis until the Annual General Meeting 2014.

The board of directors and management of Sulzer would like to thank Manfred Wennemer for his contributions to the company and wish him all the best for the future.
