In 2021, around 11 billion tons of cargo were transported by sea worldwide. This accounts for almost 90 percent of global trade and means that the shipping industry, which has mainly been powered by heavy fuel oil until now, is responsible for around three percent of global CO2 emissions.

This technology has universally proven its worth in practice over the last two years: in foaming, aggressive, cloudy or transparent liquid media, the radar sensors are able to measure the levels very accurately and reliably.

In many industrial processes, three-way valves perform the important function of mixing or splitting flowing media. Schubert & Salzer has now developed the first three-way ball sector valve for the ideal control of the flow rate of liquids and gases.
