BRIDGEPORT, NJ – Godwin Pumps, the largest manufacturer of portable rental pumps with 15 U.S. rental branch offices and over 100 distributor locations worldwide, recently opened its first California rental branch in Corona at 1215 Graphite Drive, approximately a half mile north of the intersection of Ontario and California, just west of Interstate 15.

ITT Fygt is releasing two new slim line pumps from the hard working Bibo range, for use in active dewatering. The new models, which can handle up to 55 l/s and pump up to heads of 70 metres, can operate in pipes ranging between 300 and 500 mm in diameter.

Eastern European countries can skip decades of technological development by making use of the extensive knowledge and experience Grundfos and five other Scandinavian companies have integrated into their products. Proof of this can be found in a newly-renovated apartment block in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Grundfos has acquired the company Dansteel Engineering India Pvt. Ltd., formerly owned by Det Danske Stålvalseværk (Danish Steel Works Ltd.). Dansteel Engineering India, located in New Delhi with 17 employees, has previously worked on developing software and control systems for the steel industry. Following Grundfos’ acquisition of the company, its resources will be used for developing software related to the pump industry.

The latest version of the PUMP ENGINEERING PROGRAM of Jung Pumpen is now ready for distribution.

Early last October, in supplementation of their current range of medium- and high-pressure gate valves, KSB Armaturen GmbH in Frankenthal launched a new type series of gate valves and swing check valves for the pressure classes PN10 through 40.
