The new Hydromatic HPD200 positive displacement grinder pump is specifically designed to meet the demands of residential wastewater and sewage applications. The HPD Grinder is engineered for low-pressure sewer systems and is ideal for “high head” applications involving single family residences and cottages. The powerful class F insulated 2 HP 1750 RPM pump produces a nearly constant flow under a wide range of continuously varying conditions with reliable performance of heads to 245 feet and flows of 19 gpm. The HPD200 is available in manual or automatic models, and is also available in complete package systems for quick installations.

Seneca Falls, NY-Goulds Pumps, one of the fluid businesses of ITT Industries, has introduced a new line of ISO magnetic drive process pumps. Seneca Falls, NY-Goulds Pumps, one of the fluid businesses of ITT Industries, has introduced the Model HT3196 ANSI pump high temperature process pump.

December 2000, KSB Aktiengesellschaft, Germany, launched a submersible motor pump series developed for use in water supply and irrigation systems. All five sizes of the S100B series are of a very robust design and capable of handling water with a solids content of 50 grams per cubic metre.

The recently developed high pressure series M 800 reaches pressures of up to 800 bar using a PTFE sandwich diaphragm and opens up new application fields for hermetically tight, leakage-free diaphragm pumps.

ITT Flygt has released its latest controller, the FPC100, to compliment their Bibo and Ready ranges of drainage pumps. It is designed to control pumps in harsh or cramped conditions where level sensors are impracticable and where it is common practice to leave pumps unattended and running continuously. The new controller has the ability to calculate the optimal pumping cycle, resulting in less wear on parts and reduced power consumption; considerably extending a pump’s life expectancy.

ABS introduces a new model in the JUMBO® range of contractor pumps for powerful dewatering of abrasive water from construction sites, mines, ships, docks and flooded areas.

The new model JUMBO® 205 is a 21 kW pump for high head or high volume.

New Lowara pumps are hydraulically powered multiphase centrifugal units, which run at 2.900 rpm and throw 13 m3 per hour at 12 bar giving overall better performance from a more compact scale. A particular innovation for this new design of de-icer is the use of a single, relatively small and light – yet high performance – pump. The vehicles being replaced had large, heavy, cast iron gear pumps which had many problems, most of them expensive.

Ready 24 is the latest drainage pump from ITT Flygt. The 2.4 kW pump, which weighs less than 18 kg and is less than 200 mm in diameter, can cope with everything from muddy water to corrosive liquids and gravel.

The implementations of innovative valves has enabled the Puchheim Pump Specialists ASF THOMAS to significantly increase the repeat accuracy of the volume flow of their Micro Diaphragm Pump 2002.
