Rainleader 20, ESPA’s latest invention for the recovery of rainwater, has won one of the Design Plus ISH 2001 prizes awarded by Messe Frankfurt in collaboration with the IF Industrie Forum Design Hannover to acknowledge the good ideas of the new millennium.

At this year’s ISH, KSB Aktiengesellschaft, Frankenthal, will present its latest sewage lifting unit to the public for the first time. Named Ama-Sani, it is the smallest product in the manufacturer’s product line and supplements the company’s existing scope. It allows house owners to maintain, for example, a guest bathroom below backwash level, say, in a basement, from where waste water would normally not run into the sewer unaided.

As one of the highlights at this year’s ISH, KSB Aktiengesellschaft, Frankenthal, will present a submersible motor pump for floating-suction water intake with an external mains water back-up system to DIN 1988. The new Hya Rain U primarily caters to the needs of home owners who cannot employ a pump working by suction, because their rain water collection tank is located too far from the house. As the pump set is inside the tank and does not make any noise, the system is suitable for use close to living quarters.

At this year’s ISH, KSB Armaturen GmbH will debut an intelligent control valve with slanted seat and microprocessorized actuator. Available from June 2001, the new BOA-CVE SuperCompact valve is designed for use in heating and air-conditioning systems as well as in auxiliary industrial circuits. Depending on the desired pressure and on the temperature in a given circuit, the new valve serves to control or shut off the flow as required. A freely and individually parameterizeable electric actuator adapts to practically any building services application.
