Changes in the Andritz Executive Board

Hidroeléctrica de Cahora Bassa (HCB), Mozambique’s leading hydropower generation company, has awarded ANDRITZ a contract for the rehabilitation of the Cahora Bassa hydropower plant. It is the largest hydropower plant in Mozambique and one of the largest in Africa.

On July 1, 2025, Katharina Rath takes over the newly created position of Chief People Officer at the Voith Group. In this role, she will align the company’s corporate culture and global human resources strategy for the future.

Sulzer has launched the Sulzer Energy Optimization Service, an energy efficiency and carbon reduction service that will create a new best practice standard for the operation of centrifugal pumps across their lifecycle for energy intensive industries such as power generation, oil and gas, chemicals and water desalination.

Sogn og Fjordane Energi (SFE), a leading renewable energy supplier in Western Norway, through its wholly owned subsidiary Firdakraft AS, has awarded ANDRITZ a major contract to supply advanced electromechanical equipment for the new Øksenelvane hydropower plant in Bremanger municipality. The new plant will be constructed next to the existing Øksenelvane power plant, which will be decommissioned after more than 70 years of operation.

TNB Power Generation has selected international technology group ANDRITZ to carry out a major uprating of the Chenderoh hydropower plant. The aim is to extend the plant’s operational lifespan and increase the capacity of three units by 5%.

Norway’s largest run-of-river hydropower plant, Vamma, will undergo a major modernization: Norwegian utility Hafslund has selected international technology group ANDRITZ to upgrade one of the plant’s turbine-generator units.
