Shorter duration of the event
Another new aspect of Wasser Berlin International 2019 will be the shorter duration of the event. From 26 to 28 March 2019 over a period of three days (previously four) the trade fair and congress, which is part of the event, will showcase the entire range of products and services from the national and international water industry on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. ”Shortening the event was the logical result of adapting the Wasser Berlin International concept to create a compact marketing platform for the water industry with a concentrated and informative supporting program”, said Matthias Steckmann, Executive Director at Messe Berlin. Following this year’s trade fair a majority of exhibitors and trade visitors had requested a shorter running time.

Tried and tested trade fair concept
The focus of Wasser Berlin International will continue to be on presenting the latest technologies and services and organizing a dialogue between senior figures in industry and politics from around the world. In 2019 the accompanying congress as well as numerous forums and symposiums will have information for trade visitors on up-to-the-minute water industry topics. Formats will include No Dig, Flood Management, Water from Wells, the Blue Planet Berlin Water Dialogues and Schaustelle Wasser.
