Malaysia International Water Convention (MIWC) 2019 will be held at MITEC Kuala Lumpur on 1-3 October 2019 organised by Malaysian Water Association (MWA) and supported by Ministry of Water, Land and Natural Resources. MIWC 2019 provides a platform for governments, corporations and service providers to come together and collaborate in the interest of advancing innovation, embracing transformation and securing the future for the water sector.

MWA has been organising Water Malaysia, a biennial international exhibition and conference that encompasses all across the entire water cycle, since 1991. Water Loss Asia 7th edition, a specialized Non-Revenue Water roving event will also be held alongside.

Water Leaders Forum
The MIWC Water Leaders Forum is by invitation only. This forum will see a gathering of high-level water industry leaders and government regulators and policy makers to discuss on hot topics affecting the water industry. This year, MIWC Water Leaders Forum will focus on the role of smart water solutions to achieve water security for all, and examine the synergies and partnerships between public sector, private utilities/industry and civil societies to achieve smart water solutions that benefits all (no one should be left behind).

Reconnect with your existing customers and build new partnerships with customers from the region. Water Loss Asia 2019 is held alongside MIWC, which will bring an audience of more than 4,000 water professionals from 34 countries.

The construction of the Pantai 2 RSTP started in July 2011 and was completed in July 2015. The main sewage treatment plant is built below ground level whilst the sludge treatment facility is above the ground level, over 17 ha of land area which also includes an above ground recreational park and amenities.
