Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions (WMFTS) has significantly enhanced its Qdos Conveying Wave Technology (CWT) pumps by increasing their pressure capability. The pumps are now capable of delivering flow rates of 500 ml/min at pressures of up to 130 PSI (9 bar), a substantial increase from its previous capacity of 100 PSI (7 bar).
NETZSCH Pumps USA, the complex fluid handling solutions provider, announces that Nelson Bertaia has joined the team as TORNADO/ Grinder Product Line Manager along with being the Regional Sales Manager Northeast.
As part of its extensive pump portfolio Celeros Flow Technology offers heavy duty BB3 pumps that provide a versatile and reliable flow control solutions in most multistage applications. The pump is designed for exceptional reliability in arduous applications, easy maintenance and long service intervals.
Wayne Rose, CEO of the British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA) shares some thoughts on the shifting legislative landscape impacting the pump sector in the aftermath of Brexit, highlighting some of the efforts undertaken by his organisation (and others) in ensuring a fair and equitable approach is adopted across the board.
The growing scale of water transport systems in the past few years has resulted in a steady increase in the volume flow rates demanded of the pumps installed, which in turn has required ever larger pump sizes. Responding to this development, KSB Group has expanded its RDLO type series from 21 sizes to 33.
Operators of offshore platforms are very focused on the reliability of their equipment. Working in such a remote location means that major repairs, if not carefully planned, can result in extended downtime and loss of production. For one platform in Malaysia, a change in output was shortly followed by an increased rate of seal failures on the condensate pumps – an issue that was effectively resolved with a Sulzer retrofit, through their OEM-X line service.
Sulzer flow equipment and support was recently selected by Eiffage, a civil engineering firm in Europe, to propel high volumes of water through a whitewater training course commissioned by the French government in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
MasoSine Certa pumps from Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions (WMFTS) are proving time and time again that they are up to the challenge when it comes to the transfer of viscous foods such as guacamole, a popular dip or spread for Mexican food.
Armstrong Fluid Technology has introduced an expanded range of Design Envelope Permanent Magnet pumps that are engineered to deliver 35-65% reduction in energy consumption compared to conventional integrated pumps with induction motors.
