Few tasks are more critical for a water pump than those used for life support equipment in hospitals.

After a testing period of several months, the worldwide unique chlorine absorption plant, which has been developed by GEA Jet Pumps, is now officially being presented.

Homa Pumpenfabrik GmbH, Neunkirchen-Seelscheid, has expanded the Chromatic submersible pump series by two more powerful models. They are designed for application in stationary pump sumps as well as for using as mobile emergency pump in case of overflow. This series includes the optimal pumps for pumping from cellars, sumps and pits.

Lutz Pumpen has developed a new container pump in vertical, wet-end centrifugal construction which combines high capacity, low weight, high level of operational safety, continuous operation suitability and low speed.

ABS is introducing a new series of HiLift pumps for high head pumping. The new range offers reliable wastewater pumping from buildings, sites and industry, and is ideal for stormwater pumping.

For blockage-free operation, the new HiLift pumps are equipped with the ABS patented ContraBlock system.

Seneca Falls, NY – Goulds Pumps, one of the fluid businesses of ITT Industries, has introduced the new Vogel ICB close-coupled chemical process pump. The ICB Series is an extension to the IC series ISO 5199 frame mounted chemical pump series. These new pumps provide a compact and economical pumping solution ideal for OEM applications and confined spaces in industrial processes. The ICB range includes 25 pump sizes, which are capable of flows up to 450 m3/h (1980 GPM) and heads up to 150m (492 feet). ICB pumps are suitable for service temperatures ranging from –40°C to 140°C (-40°F to 284°F) and operating pressures up to 16 bar (230 psi).

After more than a year of research and development the latest pump of DP-Pumps is available: the DPV(S) 65. One of the great features of this pump is the easily replaceable mechanical seal.

Included in the sales range early in June, the multi-stage Ixo RWS is the first submersible motor pump offered by KSB Aktiengesellschaft, Frankenthal, capable of pumping water with a floating suction strainer.

Frankenthal-based KSB is introducing a newly engineered multistage pump for the leakless-pump sector. While that segment of the market is becoming more and more important, it is still extensively populated by single-stage pump sets which are of simpler design but markedly poorer efficiency. From the end of February, Multimagno mag-drive pumps covering discharge heads of = 150 m and flow rates of = 30 m3/h will be significantly enhancing that segment.
