    EDEN PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA… Eaton Corporation’s Hydraulic Fluid Analysis Services Laboratory recently earned accreditation by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation. This Southfield Michigan lab is one of the first labs in the country to achieve conformance with the new ISO/IEC 17025-1999 requirement, “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories.” The lab also operates in accordance with ISO 9001.

    Auburn, NY (January 24, 2001) – Goulds Pumps Water Technologies plant here was honored by its parent company, ITT Industries, the world’s largest pump producer, with an international “Ring of Quality” Gold Award in recognition of successful application of “Lean Manufacturing” techniques. “Lean Manufacturing” is a discipline that involves the mastering of manufacturing techniques to reduce waste, eliminate process redundancies, and improve productivity.
