Lowara host B.T.L.I.A. irrigation meeting

After several years of trying Lowara UK were successful in hosting the event in December welcoming a delegation from the Association that included a diverse party of consultants, contractors and other suppliers.

PARSIPPANY, N.J., January 8, 2001 – In view of the prominent role that pumps play in manufacturing, the Hydraulic Institute (HI) announces plans to represent the pumping industry as a sponsor of National Manufacturing Week (NMW), taking place March 5-8, 2001 at Chicago’s McCormick Place Complex. As an association sponsor of the National Plant Engineering MRO & Management area of NMW, HI will specifically support the Fluid Handling Pavilion within the Plant area.

    Pump Life Cycle Cost is the Focus of the Pump Users International Forum 2000

    The Hydraulic Institute announces plans to join EUROPUMP as a co-sponsor of the Pump Users International Forum 2000, to be held October 10 – 12, 2000, in Karlsruhe, Germany. Organized by the German Pump Manufacturers Association, the program for Forum 2000 will focus on the four essential elements of life cycle cost: investment, energy, maintenance and reliability. A presentation of the HI/EUROPUMP User Guidelines on Life Cycle Costs (LCC) will be part of the agenda.
