The market for corrosion resistant materials is now capacity limited. Franklin Electric reported record diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of $2.43 for fiscal 2006, an increase of 23 percent compared to 2005 earnings per share from continuing operations of $1.97 and record income from continuing operations of $56.8 million in 2006, an increase of 24 percent compared to last year’s $45.8 million.

Pentair announced that John L. Stauch, 42, will join the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Stauch most recently served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Honeywell International’s $11 billion Automation and Control Solutions group. His appointment as CFO of Pentair will be effective in late February.

IDEX announced its financial results for the three- and twelve-month periods ended December 31, 2006. From continuing operations, orders in the fourth quarter were up 25 percent, sales increased 19 percent, and income rose 28 percent to $36.2 million.
