Vydas International Marketing has announced their immediate appointment as distributor for European manufacturer Ditel who are based in Spain.

Flowserve Pump Division today announced a substantial order for three large WUC vertical double casing pumps from Tractebel Gas Engineering in Bonn, Germany (a subsidiary of Tractebel, Belgium).

Sulzer Pumps India has received an order for 74 pumps valued at 1.6 million USD from Japan Gas Corporation (JGC), Yokohama, for a refinery project at Atyrau (western Kazakhstan).

Weir Pumps were awarded a multi-million dollar contract to replace existing pumps at the Cantarell nitrogen generation complex located in Ciduad del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico.

Sulzer Pumps has been awarded an order to supply four seawater injection pumps that will be the largest ever built. The pumps, to be supplied to the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) for installation on their Compression and Water Injection (C&WP) platform for the Azeri Development Project in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea, are each rated at approximately 26 MW absorbed power.

KSB won recently an order for four submersible borehole pumps and all related control systems from a mining company situated in Western Siberia. The worth of the contract is about € 2.2 million.

The German based KSB Aktiengesellschaft is to deliver 330 pumps with a value in excess of € eight million to China by the end of September 2003. The customer is a German-Chinese chemical company which is building a new industrial complex in Nanjing.
