Hidrostal Limited, the Newbury based manufacturer and supplier of pumping solutions, has successfully completed the mechanical and electrical installation of two foul pumping stations at the Castlepoint Centre redevelopment in Bournemouth, Dorset.

Flowserve Corp., a leading global manufacturer of fluid motion and control products and services, announces an alliance agreement for Greene, Tweed’s WR(R) line (non-metallic engineered wear components) to be available to Flowserve’s served aftermarket.

ITT Flygt has received an order for USD 1,080,000 for 13 submersible pumps, which will be used in the City of Shanghais largest pump station. The station is due for completion in 2004.

Hy-Grade Pellets, with the commissioning of a slurry pipeline in 2004, saves over 45 million US dollars per year when operated at rated capacity in the cost of transporting iron ore. The pipeline puts an end to a 437 km rail haul of iron ore fines from the mine site to the pellet plant.

Hidrostal Limited, based in Newbury, Berkshire have been awarded a contract to supply pumps to transfer surface water runoff, which can contain traces of oil, aviation fuel, de-icer fluid etc, from the runway and car park at the new Terminal facility at Heathrow Terminal 5, to a downstream separator.

The City of Whitehorse in Melbourne ‘s eastern suburbs has installed a unique rainwater use system. Rain which falls on a substantial roof area of the Whitehorse Civic Centre and the administrative offices is now collected, conserved and used as the supply to flush the public toilets of the building.
