On 1 December 2009, KSB Aktiengesellschaft, Frankenthal, Germany, received an order for four large water pumps in the million euro range to be installed in the Shuweihat pump station in the Abu Dhabi emirate.

Moving Water Industries announced that they had won a competitive request for proposal and had signed a major contract with the Bureau of Reclamation of the United States Department of the Interior to furnish pumps and motors for the Red Bluff Pumping Plant and Fish Screen Project located in Red Bluff, California in Tehama County.

The Cuvilliés Theatre in Munich is one of the city s most venerable venues and is considered one of Europe s most beautiful rococo theatres. It was built as a residence theatre from 1751 to 1753 according to the plans of the Elector’s court architect François Cuvilliés.

Tsurumi Europe has announced an agreement with Primax Pumps, the Australian pump manufacturer, to sell its automatic self-priming diesel pumps to Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The new pumps are highly versatile and will complement Tsurumi’s current product range. Tsurumi Europe will introduce the new pumps at the bauma 2010 trade fair taking place 19th – 25th April in Munich, Germany.

At the end of September, KSB Aktiengesellschaft, Frankenthal, Germany, was awarded a contract for the supply of 30 pump units to equip five Algerian pumping stations which are part of the “Setif Est” project around 200 kilometres south east of Algiers.
