Franklin Electric Co. announced it has completed the acquisition of eighty percent of the outstanding shares of Impo Motor Pompa Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. (Impo) of Izmir, Turkey. Impo is the leading supplier of groundwater pumping equipment in Turkey and has sales of approximately $28 million per year.

GE is pleased to announce it has completed the strategic acquisition of John Wood Group PLC’s Well Support Division, expanding GE Oil & Gas’ extensive drilling and surface manufacturing and services portfolio.

ITT Corporation announced that its board of directors has unanimously approved a plan to separate the company’s businesses into three distinct, publicly traded companies. Under the plan, ITT would execute tax-free spinoffs to shareholders of its water-related businesses and its Defense & Information Solutions segment.

Parker Hannifin Corporation announced that it has acquired HDA Acessorios e Equipamentos Ltd. of Sao Paulo, Brazil. HDA is a manufacturer of hydraulic filters and accessories typically used in the mobile equipment, industrial and agriculture markets with offices and a manufacturing location in Sao Paulo.
