Xylem Introduces Flowtronex Silent Storm Express VFD Pumping System

08.03.2012

Xylem adds new meaning to Source to Course with the introduction of the Flowtronex Silent Storm Express (SSE) variable speed pumping system.

Designed to advance remote pump control, with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) efficiency, the SSE provides golf course superintendents with power management tools for a more green/sustainable solution.

Representing the ultimate in fully programmable pump stations in a very compact footprint, the VFD technology further improves system efficiency with simple touch screen controls and highly accurate flowmeter technology, even at low flow rates. The compact footprint can fit into most any existing spaces and can be delivered in only four weeks.

Additional Silent Storm Express features and benefits include:

  • Real time Pace integration with the Toro Lynx software ensures that the demand from the irrigation system is being met and the pump station isn’t using un-necessary power and energy.
  • Simplifies retrofit and replacement projects and is available with the shortest lead-time in the industry.
  • 24/7 factory-authorized support from FlowNet global service network.
  • Experience and innovation gained from more than 8,000+ installations, including 79 of the top 100 golf courses, and 37 years of experience in manufacturing pump stations.

According to Boyd Rose, Flowtronex Key Accounts Manager, “The Silent Storm Express pumping system provides golf course superintendents with superior performance, web-enabled control, and total water quality management with unmatched quality product support and warranties.”

Designed to meet specific requirements, the Silent Storm Express VFD system is completely UL Listed for both US and Canada, and CE rated for Europe. The Silent Storm Express irrigation pump system works in harmony with our line of integrated water management solutions to bring the source water to the course.
