Wilo USA, a provider of pumps and pump solutions for building services, water management, and groundwater, announced it has appointed Mohammed A. Siddiqi as the company s new Director of Engineering.

Siddiqi s responsibilities include planning and directing all aspects of engineering within Wilo and ensuring all engineering projects and plans are in conformance to Wilo s established policies and business objectives.

"Mohammed is an exceptionally versatile professional, with experience in all aspects of product and system design and development from concept through market introduction," says Tim Ruppert, President of Wilo USA. "Mohammed has proven success in bringing highly differentiated and innovative products and technologies to market. His experience in building diverse global centers and teams to realize strategic business objectives will continue to build Wilo s success."

Siddiqi s professional experience includes leadership roles as Senior Engineering Manager and Consultant at SRI, Head of Technical Operations at Turbodesign Technology, Senior Engineering Manager at Xylem and Engineering Manager at ITT Corporation.

Siddiqi s accomplishments include a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, multiple inventions relating to turbo-machine architecture and various awards for leadership and contributions to new product development.
