Wilo SE Expands Executive Board

The Wilo SE Supervisory Board has appointed Gilbert Faul as a member of the company’s Executive Board with effect from 1 October 2011.

The 44 year old with a degree in engineering is French and has been working very successfully for the Wilo Group since 2001. His dedicated work in Asia contributed significantly to Wilo’s extraordinary growth in the emerging markets in the region.

From his Beijing base, Gilbert Faul will continue to be responsible for Wilo’s business activities in Asia and, in addition, for developing the growth markets in Russia, the Ukraine, Turkey, the Gulf region and Africa.

“The expansion of the Executive Board and Gilbert Faul’s appointment are a logical consequence of the Group’s exceptional growth and rapid development, especially in the emerging markets”, explains Dr Heinz-Gerd Stein, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

The Executive Board will comprise four members from 1 October 2011. Oliver Hermes will be CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board. The other members of the Executive Board will be Dr Holger Krasmann, Eric Lachambre and Gilbert Faul.
