Godwin Pumps' Dri-Prime pump has been selected for use in the Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) Operations Maintenance Challenge beginning this year.

Teams of municipal operators from all over the U.S. participate in the WEFTEC Operations Challenge each year. The challenge competition, divided into five categories – collection systems, laboratory, process control, maintenance and safety, runs for four consecutive years (2005-2008) with awards and recognition going to the best teams in each event annually. A trophy is awarded to the team demonstrating the best combination of precision, speed and safety.

In October 2004, a team of four Godwin Pumps employees performed the 2005 Operations Maintenance Challenge utilizing the Godwin Dri-Prime pump at the 77th annual WEFTEC in New Orleans, LA.
