Visitor Registration for IFAT Eurasia 2019 Now Open

The countdown’s on: only two months left until IFAT Eurasia 2019—Eurasia’s leading environmental technology trade show—will open its doors in Turkey from March 28 to 30. Visitors can now register online for the event to meet market leaders such as Dikkaya, Putzmeister, Standart Pompa, Tomra or Wilo at Istanbul Expo Center (IFM).

From waste management and recycling to water and sewage technologies and municipal vehicles—the participants of the next IFAT Eurasia will be able to enjoy an extensive range of topics and environmental solutions showcased on around 17,000 square meters. Katharina Schlegel, Exhibition Director IFAT Trade Fairs Abroad at Messe München on the current state: “The exhibitor registration and placement currently is at the final stage, the halls continue to fill. For the water and wastewater sector we are almost completely booked.”

Among the registered exhibitors are Turkish and international industry leaders such as Anadolu Flygt, Astim, Asos, Benli, Dikkaya, Disan, Eldan, Festo, Hach Lange, Hitachi Zosen Inova, Lanxess Deutschland, Lindner Recyclingtechnik, Mimsan, M-U-T., Netzsch, Standart Pompa, Tomra, Werner Doppstadt Umwelttechnik and Wilo. And Tanac will be the first Brazilian technology supplier in the three exhibition halls in Istanbul to present its solutions.

China, Germany, Austria and Switzerland with country pavilions

In addition to the individual company booths, the trade fair center in Istanbul will again feature country pavilions of key manufacturing nations. This year, China, Germany, Austria and Switzerland will have joint pavilions that pool the innovative capacity and technical expertise of domestic companies. Germany will be even represented twice: in addition to the official German joint booth which is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the pavilion of German Water Partnership (GWP) will gather the German water technology providers in one booth.

From marine littering to current construction projects

The third edition of IFAT Eurasia will not only bring together supply and demand, but also be a platform that imparts cutting-edge knowledge on markets and technologies. For this—together with many partner associations—the organizers will offer an extensive presentation, workshop and round table program on all three days of the fair. First topics have been specified already, for example, current tenders, investment and building projects in the environmental sector, regional challenges in water and waste management, measures to reduce marine littering in tourist regions as well as the education and training of young talents and specialists. The program will not only focus on Turkey but will also embrace neighboring countries, especially the MENA region.
