Viscoflux Mobile Now Available With Diverse Control Options

The pump specialist Flux-Geräte GMBH from Maulbronn has conducted further developments on the highly flexible Viscoflux mobile drum emptying system, with which highly viscous, paste-like, non-flowing materials can be transported continuously and gently. An optional control unit now permits integration into a diverse range of filling processes.

For example, an end position cut-off can be integrated into the Viscoflux mobile process device. On reaching a pre-defined media level in the drum, the pumping process is then stopped automatically. External signals from a balance or a fill level measurement sensor can also be processed for use in batch processing. In this way the pump drive can be switched off and at the same time a solenoid valve can be closed, for example when reaching a certain filling weight. The control unit with integrated Fluxtronic provides even more possibilities for batch processing. Here the Fluxtronic processes the incoming impulse signals from, for example, a flow meter or a speed sensor on the pump, and thus controls the switch-off of the pump drive and solenoid valve on reaching the required filling quantity. The filling of this preset quantity can also be triggered via an external start/stop switch.

The Viscoflux principle: Emptying drums to less than 1% residue (in drums without inliner)

Viscoflux mobile is a stand-alone system consisting of a mobile process device and a pump unit comprising a drive motor, pump and follower plate with process seal, which is individually designed for each application. Its compact design makes the system so small it can even be transported in a lift. The standard industrial version of the Viscoflux mobile for the conveyance of coating and casting compounds, paste-like raw substances, varnishes and fillers is available for two drum diameters (560 mm and 571 mm). In drums without inliner, Viscoflux mobile achieves residual quantities of less than 1 %.

Pharma Food Cosmetic – the optimal choice for conical drums!

The Pharma Food Cosmetic version of the Viscoflux mobile is the ideal drum emptying system for high-viscosity media such as creams, ointment bases, tomato puree, condiment pastes and fruit sauces. The pumping unit with motor, pump and follower plate is quick to dismantle and easy to clean. Various stainless steel components make the process device also resistant to aggressive cleaning agents. In the version with a special process seal, the Pharma Food Cosmetic version even permits transfer out of conical drums with aseptic bags. In this way, Viscoflux mobile achieves residual quantities of less than 2%. Due to the flexibility of the process seal, barrels with slight transportation dents can also easily be emptied.
