Technology company Siemens has expanded its software portfolio for the water industry, enabling its customers to optimize their plant operations using artificial intelligence – without the need for technical expertise.

The need for a radical rethink of how the water sector communicates, internally, and with the media and the public, was a key theme of the UK Water Industry Research (UKWIR)’s fourth annual conference, which took place in London on 30 November 2023.

The Malaysia International Water Convention (MIWC) 2023, the region’s premier event for water industry professionals, is poised to gather over 650 thought leaders, innovators, and practitioners from diverse sectors to address the critical challenges facing the water industry and explore sustainable solutions for a water-secure future.

Unprecedented concern and curiosity from the public about the water environment, resources and infrastructure signals the need to change the way research and innovation initiatives are communicated.

Kanishka Arumugam, Co-CEO of EKKI Water Technologies, has been appointed as an Honorary Fellow at the University of Warwick’s Institute for Global Sustainable Development (IGSD).

At the recent Singapore MICE Awards (SMA) 2023, held on 27 July 2023, Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2022 was conferred the “Trade Show of the Year” Award.
