Veeder-Root Announces Executive Appointments
The Veeder-Root Company, global supplier of automatic tank gauging, leak detection, compliance services, and Red Jacket® submersible pumps, announces the appointment of Brian Burnett as president.
In this role, Burnett will have worldwide leadership for developing and leading the strategy and implementation of Veeder-Root's business objectives and product innovation.
Burnett was previously president for Jacobs Vehicle Systems (JVS), a Danaher company. Burnett comes to Veeder-Root with industry experience. Prior to JVS, he was vice president of operations and general manager of petroleum products for Veeder-Root. He will be based in Simsbury, CT.
Andrew Wert has been appointed vice president of marketing. In this role, Wert will have responsibility for the global marketing and product strategy, including development and implementation of the Red Jacket and Veeder-Root strategic plan.
Wert joins Veeder-Root from Liebert Corporation, a $1 billion subsidiary of Emerson, located in Columbus, Ohio. While at Liebert, Wert had increasing levels of responsibility driving product marketing, global product development, and operations project management. Prior to Liebert, Andrew was with Grimes Aerospace, a division of Honeywell, in strategic planning and marketing roles. He will be based in Simsbury, CT.
