Two New Sizes of Mark III In-Line Pump

29.09.2003

Flowserve has announced the release of two new sizes in the Mark III In-Line chemical process pump family. The new pump sizes were developed in response to customer requests for broader hydraulic coverage of this popular space-saving product line.

The two new pump sizes are the 1K3x1.5V-81 and 2K3x1.5V-13. These sizes take advantage of existing horizontal impellers and volute designs while expanding the hydraulic coverage of the Mark III In-Line product family.

With the introduction of these two new pumps, Flowserve now offers eleven sizes in its Mark III In-Line family – four Group 1 sizes and seven Group 2 sizes.

The Mark III In-Line exceeds ASME (ANSI) B73.2M criteria and is a compact alternative to standard horizontal pumps for applications in chemical and hydrocarbon processing, as well as general industry services.

In 2001, Flowserve introduced the Mark III In-Line product family, a significant upgrade from the previous Mark II design. The Mark III In-Line pump uses the Mark IIIA power end, providing a fully featured pump with increased durability and expanded hydraulic coverage. The Mark III In-Line pump family also features the repeatable performance of the reverse vane impeller, the exclusive SealSentryTM seal chambers, and Flowserve’s unique C-Plus precision motor and pump shaft alignment system. The result is improved pump reliability, extended mean time between planned maintenance (MTBPM) and lower total life cycle cost.
