28.02.2001

Tuthill Pump Group, based in Alsip, Ill., is announcing its new GlobalGear product line of process gear pumps at the International Pump Symposium in Houston. Detailed information on GlobalGear process pumps is being showcased at Booth #703 in the exhibit hall at the Symposium.

"We are truly excited with the GlobalGear product line as a new addition to the other products we offer," said Dan Ross, president, Tuthill Pump Group. "The new process pumps offer end-users flexible alternatives without them having to compromise cost and ease of maintenance."

GlobalGear pumps provide users with unparalleled value that includes easy maintenance and dimensional interchangeability in a modular design, all at a competitive price.

"The new GlobalGear line of modular process pumps is the result of extensive research and is built on more than 70 years of the company´s gear pump design experience," said Ross. "With the help of our customers, we have designed and created a high-value process pump that meets the demanding needs of the end-user."

GlobalGear pumps are compatible with many of the process gear pumps currently being used in the marketplace today, making it a direct replacement alternative with no modifications required on the end-userâs part. In addition, the structural design of the unit allows maintenance to be performed quickly and easily. GlobalGear also has a modular design so customers are able to adapt and change the pump´s characteristics to fit their needs. As a result, there are minimal switch-out costs and a decrease in parts inventory.

"GlobalGear pumps meet a wide range of needs for various industries involved with high viscosity fluids, such as chemical and food processing, bulk transfer, asphalt and those dealing with high temperature fluids," said Bill Blankemeier, director, sales and marketing, Tuthill Pump Group.
