The project

With the objective of containing energy consumption, key manufacturers of circulating pumps have agreed, under the umbrella of The European Pump Manufacturers Association (Europump), to bring to the market, products assessed on the basis of their energy consumption, identifying them with an energy saving table, like that already widely respected in the world of domestic white goods and lighting products.

It is an innovative project that has as its main objective, a reduction in damaging carbon emissions. At Calpeda we have always been sensitive to environmental issues and recognise the importance of energy saving. We have therefore always placed the study of products with high-energy efficiency and low environmental impact, at the forefront of our research and development agenda. To participate in the Energy Labelling project, is for Calpeda, just one element in a long tradition of environmental awareness, and in doing so, brings to the market a new generation of circulating pumps, which exploit the characteristics of synchronous motor technology, providing a significant contribution to energy savings, in the world of domestic and residential heating systems.

The Products

NCE Class A circulating pump:

The NCE is an electronic circulating pump controlled by an on-board variable speed inverter, providing class A energy saving with a stable n curve. In addition to the all important energy savings, and advanced technical features, synonymous with Calpeda, they bring even more. Environmental savings:

• A single circulating pump to manage and operate.
• A single circulating pump to install.
• A single circulating pump to utilise.

These factors reduce the impact of transportation, stockholding and installation management, better serving the market, user, installer and distributor.

NC Class B circulating pump: a fixed speed circulator providing class B energy saving with single curve utilisation.

The NC is a circulating pump for domestic and residential installations, which combines low energy consumption with an almost flat operating curve. The pumps feature almost silent operation, even when varying the utilisation point.

Much is talked about innovation in energy saving and environmental fields. Calpeda, however, is prepared to take real action, providing solutions to saving carbon emissions and protecting our environment for future generations.
