Tencarva Machinery Company Expands Its Charleston Branch Office Facility

The new office, in Suite #101 at 2460 Remount Road, has 4,360 square feet of space, housing five offices and an open area, plus 2,900 square feet of warehouse and shop area. Previously, the Charleston Branch Office, located in Suite #107, was housed in 1,750 square feet for two offices, warehouse and shop.

Lee points out, “We were really overcrowded and needed more office space and a bigger pump shop. With the addition, we have been able to add a new equipment repairer, Philip McIntire. We are hoping to expand our pump repair business. And this additional space does give us extra warehouse space for inventory.”

Helping David to oversee this project were Harrell Crawford, Tencarva’s vice president in Columbia, S.C., and Ed Pearce, Tencarva’s controller in the Greensboro, N.C., headquarters office.

Pearce points out, “The Charleston office has been in the same location since the office opened in 1989. As their sales volume, particularly repairs, has steadily increased the last several years, David has been looking for new space. We are excited that he has finally found a space that will allow the Charleston Branch Office to grow their service business.”

Harrell adds, “ We had been looking for larger location for a few years and are delighted that we found this place. One of the main criteria for the new location was that it be in same immediate area. The area is convenient for all and several customers are easily accessed from here as well.”
