Telephone Survey: Goulds Pumps Named Preferred Supplier

According to a Harris Interactive study Goulds Pumps leads its competitors in reliability, delivery, local service support, product offering and company reputation

Seneca Falls, NY - Goulds Pumps, a unit of ITT Industries, the world's largest pump manufacturer, has recently been named the "preferred pump supplier" in a telephone survey conducted by Harris Interactive (Nasdaq: HPOL), a leading global Internet research firm.

The survey was conducted via telephone interview (using unaided recall) of approximately 600 engineering and maintenance decision makers in the pulp and paper, chemical processing and hydrocarbon processing industries.

Goulds Pumps came in first in the following categories: product reliability, accurate and on-time delivery, local service support, product offering and company reputation. In many instances, Goulds' results doubled the nearest competitor. Goulds Pumps is a major supplier of centrifugal process pumps and parts for chemical, pulp and paper, power generation, oil refining, mining and primary metals in worldwide applications.
