Tapflo Expands Into US Market

11.09.2013

Tapflo Group from Kungälv, Sweden, a leading European manufacturer of AODD pumps, is expanding its distribution network with a sales and distribution centre in California and an additional warehouse in Pennsylvania to cover the US market.

The decision to develop Tapflo America was made to even better serve our American customers and be able to respond their needs more efficiently.

With the establishment of Tapflo America, Tapflo Group now covers all continents in the world with own offices and distributors.

Tapflo Group has joined forces with its long time partner Pumportal in CA, USA and established Tapflo America. The company will service all US states and has its head office in Irvine, CA with stock and service facilities in addition to another service and distribution point in Pennsylvania.

"We started our cooperation over 10 years ago and Tapflo has proven to be on of the most reliable and long term suppliers I have met" - says Akbar Hussaini, owner of Pumportal. "Our investment shows that there is an important and growing install base of Tapflo pumps in the US and there is a definite need for high quality air operated diaphragm pumps in our market" - continues Mr Hussaini.

Pumportal has established a network of domestic distributors covering most of the US, a network that will from now on deal directly with Tapflo America. To the customers this formation will mean shorter lead times with additional inventories especially from the new East Coast location in Pennsylvania. This also increases Tapflo’s commitment of resources to this region which will result in improved support to our end users and distributors.
