Sundyne Corporation Receives Governor’s Award for Excellence in Exporting

ARVADA, Colo., May 18, 2001 -- We are delighted to announce that Sundyne Corporation is the recipient of the Colorado Governor’s Award for Excellence in Exporting. This award honors Colorado companies who have made a significant contribution to exporting.

Colorado Governor Bill Owens’ office presented the award to Sundyne Corporation at the Denver World Trade Day banquet on May 16, 2001.

“This is a great honor for our company,” said Sundyne Corp. president Phil Ruffner. “Our exports around the world have steadily increased over the years thanks to the dedication of our employees. We are fortunate to be part of the vibrant Colorado business community and look forward to growing our international sales in the years ahead.”

Colorado businesses of every size and industry, including both goods and services, were eligible to apply for the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Exporting. Sundyne Corporation was the award-winner for the medium sized manufacturer category.

From its 350-employee Arvada, Colo.-based headquarters, Sundyne Corporation exported to 44 different countries last year, representing over 35 percent of sales from this location. In addition to its world headquarters in Colorado, the company has strategic business units in Bloomingdale, Illinois;

Dijon, France; Eastbourne, England; Ilsfeld, Germany; Porto Viro, Italy; and through a joint venture in

Tokyo, Japan.
