Sulzer Turbo take-over by the MAN Group finalized

In December 2000 the divestiture of Sulzer Turbo AG to the MAN Group was announced within the framework of the Sulzer focusing strategy. This take-over has now been finalized by contract closure on May 21, 2001 between MAN AG, Munich/Germany, and Sulzer Ltd, Winterthur/Switzerland.

The turbomachinery activities of the MAN Group are operated with

immediate effect under the brand name MAN TURBO. With budgeted sales around EUR 0.6 billion (CHF 0.9 billion) and about 2700 employees, this company is a leading global market player and offers the widest product range in the entire sector.

Record Figures at KSB’s Annual General Meeting

In 2023, the Frankenthal-based pump and valve manufacturer KSB achieved its highest ever order intake and sales revenue. At 7.9 %, the EBIT margin exceeded its expectations for the financial year. At the Annual General Meeting on 8 May, Dr Bernd Flohr, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressed his satisfaction in view of the persistently difficult economic conditions.
