Spaix Passes Compatibility Test for Windows 7

09.09.2009

VSX – VOGEL SOFTWARE confirms the smooth operation of Spaix desktop applications with Windows 7.

Even before the official release of Microsoft s latest operating system Windows 7 on October 22, 2009 the Spaix desktop applications passed the compatibility test. So the pump selection programs Spaix Classic V2 and Spaix Quick&Easy (including the data maintenance program Spaix Database) benefit from the increased security and reliability of the new operating system. This especially means for customers that they can use the already bought Spaix licenses after acquiring Windows 7 without any problem. They just have to request and to install the respective upgrade. Thus, an uncomplicated installation of Spaix applications at the Windows 7 platform is also guaranteed.

Within the scope of the Gold Certified partnership with Microsoft VSX already developed several software solutions based on new and innovative Microsoft technologies. Afterwards they were successfully implemented at client companies. And now the company demonstrates again its ability to promptly react on changes of environment conditions and thus to ensure the compatibility of its products to new operating systems, browser etc. from the very beginning. So VSX also guarantees the long-term protection of customer’s investments. “We always try to provide the best possible service to our clients”, commented Jens-Uwe Vogel, Managing Director of VSX - Vogel Software GmbH. “This especially concerns the reliability and trouble-free use of our software products, also in times of changed conditions. For this reason it was a matter of course to ensure the compatibility between Spaix and Windows 7 as soon as possible and to participate in the test recommended by Microsoft.”

All Spaix applications that are already used with Windows Vista are also applicable for Windows 7. For older product versions of Spaix V2 VSX is offering the appropriate upgrade at a convenient price. Customers with a Service Level Agreement can retrieve the software upgrade free of charge.

If requested VSX also provides a Windows 7 compatibility test for personalized customer applications.
