SKF Acquired Leading Lubrication Systems Business

SKF's acquisition of John Crane's lubrication systems business has now been completed. This business is headquartered and has its manufacturing operations in Muurame in Finland and in addition has sales offices in Sweden, Germany, USA and Brazil.

The sales of the lubrication systems business amounted in 2005 to Euros 25 million. The acquired business will be a very good complementary business to SKF's existing lubrication systems business, that is part of the SKF Group's Industrial Division, through its product and segment focus as well as geographical presence. The number of employees is 127.

SKF pays Euros 22.9 millions for the business.

Pentair plc, specialized in helping the world sustainably move, improve and enjoy water, life’s most essential resource, announced that it has acquired Florida-based G&F Manufacturing, LLC for approximately $108 million in cash at closing, subject to certain adjustments. The acquisition is expected to be modestly accretive to Pentair earnings in 2025. G&F Manufacturing, LLC manufactures and services heat pumps for pools under the Gulfstream brand in the Southeast portion of the United States.
