SAER ELETTROPOMPE Opened a New Factory

The Company SAER ELETTROPOMPE has opened a new factory for the mass production of the submersible motors, 6”, 8”, 10” and 12” 50 Hz. and 60 Hz operations.

The company uses the latest manufacturing technology for the production of all the products. Within the company is a quality control department which controls all aspects of the production. All the products are to the latest electrical standard CEE and within the next twelve months will have the ISO 9000 Registration.

Saer Elettropompe is now able to offer one of the more interesting products on the market with the advanced technology and many advantages i.e.:

  • Water rewindable motors
  • Thrust plate type “MITCHEL” particulary suitable to support axial loads according to NEMA Standards
  • Standard mechanical seals with high abrasion resistance:

    A: SILICON CARBIDE-ALUMINA OXIDE for 6” motors

    B: TUNGSTENE CARBIDE-TUNGSTENE CARBIDE (WIDIA-WIDIA) for 8”-10”-12” motors.

  • Tension variation +5%-10%
  • Bidirectional rotation
  • Squirrel cage rotor in copper to have a better resistance against the corrosion
  • Standard version in stainless steel and cast iron

    A: Motor in bronze on 6”, 8”, 10” and 12”

The company was founded in 1956 by the Favella Family. Since its conception the name SAER ELETTROPOMPE SRL has been synonymous with development in water technology. The current President of SAER is Franco Favella and the Vice President is Mauro Favella.

The company has three manufacturing plants : the head office and production dept. are based in Guastalla with a further manufacturing plant in Tolmezzo near the Austrian Border.

In November 1999 the company moved into the new premises with a coverage of 60.000 m², therefore the total coverage is now 100.000 m².

The total workforce is 200 people which comprises of production, administration, commercial offices, technical offices and production staff. The company also has a network of qualified technical and skilled personnel outside the company. The research into pumping technology as well the latest innovations has allowed SAER ELETTROPOMPE to develop reliable and sophisticated products now worldwide exported.

The company has always placed the strongest emphasis on all aspects that relates to the concept of quality. In this respect, it has issued in its head offices a research centre of 2000 sqm with latest computerized apparatus where it is able to test automatically up to 350 kW all its productions. SAER has always paid attention to design high efficient pumps in compliance with International Standards covering anti pollution and specially energy saving.

The company distributes to 130 countries over the world and has a distribution network in Italy of 15 companies.
