23.03.2012

Registration for the 2012 Hydraulic Institute (HI) Technical meeting is now open. This year’s Technical meeting will take place June 5-9 at the Renaissance Denver in Denver, Colorado.

Members of the Hydraulic Institute, Associate Members, Standards Partners and qualified prospective members are encouraged to register for the upcoming meeting.

The Technical meeting is a great venue for interested members to volunteer their expertise and join industry-transforming technical committees which create widely respected ANSI/HI Standards, technical guidelines and reports for pumps and pumping systems. Nearly twenty committees will meet to advance the HI’s standards and guideline writing efforts. Some meeting highlights include:

  • A preview of the Pump Systems Optimization: Energy Efficiency and Bottom-Line Savings course
  • Technical Affairs Update
  • A preview of the Rotodynamic Pump Acceptance Tests webinar
  • PDH credit available for lunchtime technical presentations

The meeting also provides plenty of opportunities to network with North America’s top pump industry professionals. HI will host a terrace reception and dinner outing at Tamayo Restaurant in Downtown Denver on Wednesday, June 6 from 5:30-9:30pm. HI will also host a reception, dinner, and planetarium show at the Museum of Nature & Science on Thursday, June 7 from 6:00-9:30pm.

Early registration discounts apply for those who register by April 27, 2012. Group discounts and “future engineering leader” discounts are also available to encourage the participation of engineers who are under the age of 35 and have been in the industry for less than ten years.
