Recognized Pump Leaders Grundfos USA and HI Sign Mutual Training Partner Agreement

13.01.2014

The Hydraulic Institute (HI) has entered a Training Partner Agreement with Grundfos USA , one of the world’s leading pump manufacturers, that allows both organizations to leverage high quality, co-branded educational and training programs designed for pump end-users, distributor and engineering consulting firms.

Through this Training Partnership, both companies will sponsor technical webinars and e-learning courses focused on a variety of pump topics and host the growing Pump Systems Optimization course to the broad pump end-user marketplace.

Clint Andrews, Regional Technical Training Manager of Grundfos USA states, “We are excited about this new Training Partner Agreement with HI as it will allow us to further grow in meeting our customers’ needs for delivering technical engineering-driven education programs focused on improving pump performance and extending product life cycles.”

As part of this new partnership, Grundfos USA will host the one-day Pump Systems Optimization course on February 27, 2014. This highly regarded one-day course has been taught to over 800 people resulting in significant dollars saved in not only energy costs but in reduced maintenance and down time as well. Although Engineers make up a good percentage of those taking the course, Maintenance, Operations and Sales are also well represented. In addition to end users taking the course, Engineering Consulting Firms also take the course to gain knowledge and credibility and to network with end users to increase their business.

“By hosting a Pump Systems Optimization course and being the first training HI Training Partner in North America, Grundfos USA is leading the way as a best-in-class pump service center in offering total pump solutions,” states Robert Asdal, Executive Director, Hydraulic Institute.
