He brings with him a wealth of leadership experience and strategic knowledge, which he will now put to use in the field of environmental remediation and gas instrumentation for QED.

On his new role, Mike commented: “I am delighted to take on the role of President of QED. After nearly 30 years at Graco, I feel that now is the right time to make the transition, and believe that I can continue to drive the company forwards as a force for good and custodian of the natural environment, as my predecessor Mark has done so well for many years.

“My time at Graco means that I am familiar with QED and its workings, though I am looking forward to digging into the nuances of its product offering and services, and truly embedding myself within the QED culture.”

Jerry Priest, Sales Development Manager at QED Environmental Systems, added: “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Mike multiple times in my combined 26 years across Graco and QED. He is a hardworking, results-driven figure who leads by example, and empowers his team to achieve a fantastic end-product in everything they do.

“His passion, vision, and most of all proven experience will be major boons to the organization. I’m looking forward to working with Mike again, and strongly believe that QED has a bright future in store under his stewardship.”

As part of Mike’s appointment, the transition will also see Mark Weinberger travel in the opposite direction, taking up Mike’s role as Vice President of Global Industrial Engineering at Graco Inc. QED Environmental Systems thanks him for his many years of service, and wishes him the best of luck in his new role.

Mark concluded: “Returning to Graco is something of a homecoming for me. I’m a Minnesota native and spent over 26 years at Graco before making the switch over to QED, but the time felt right to make my return after five and a half years at the company. “In Mike, QED has a proven leader who is sure to build upon the foundations left by myself and my predecessors. I leave QED in his capable hands, and look forward to seeing and hearing of his achievements while I’m at Graco.”
