PUMPS & VALVES ASIA 2003
“Asia’s Only Specialised Pumps&Valves, Pipes, Fitting, Hardware, Trade Exhibitions” will take place from 24-27 July 2003 in Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC).

“Pumps&Valves Asia 2002 was the biggest in the exhibition’s history, comfortably exceeding pre-recession levels in terms of qualified visitors, business done during the event and stand space taken. A total of 33,905 qualified visitors attended, of which 68.57 percent were managers and engineers. Overseas visitors reached over 10 percent of total visitors, with a significant attandance from the region.”, said Ms Patcharin Jedsadajin, Project Manager of Pumps&Valves Asia.
“Due to a greater demand this year, we are glad to announce Pumps&Valves Asia as a stand-alone exhibition which will be much more focus than ever. The exhibition will draw more targeted visitors and provide more concentrated product promotions. With our enhanced regional promotional campaigns, especially in Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore, we will anticipate a larger attandance from neighboring countries.”,
added Ms Jedsadajin.
“Our promotional campaigns and activities will ensure that our database of more than 100,000 trade buyers know about the exhibition and its unrivalled display of new technology and services. The major promotional channels are direct mail to local and overseas markets, regional advertising, exclusive power card, response-generating advertising, advertorials, public relations and conferences/seminars.”
This has also been confirmed by satisfying exhibitors and visitors of Pumps&Valves Asia 2002. “We have got enquiries from a mix of the public and private sectors. That was very much a quality crowd. Everybody in environmental industry was there.”, confirmed Mr. Ken Foong, Managing Director, Thai Waterline System Co., Ltd.
Mr. Kevin D Kahn, Regional Manager (Asia-Pacific), Richards Industries Co., Ltd., explained, “We have been meeting the right kind of people. There were filling out request forms and we will follow up later. We can tell you this is the best show we have been in. The organization is excellent, and we are particularly impressed with the Buyer-Seller Pavillion.”
Mr. Tran Viet Phuong, Executive, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), who visited the Pumps&Valves Asia 2002, said “…We also plan to come next year. This display of technology is unequaled in the region, and extremely interesting to us.”
