Pump Seminar & Summit in Parallel with Valve World Expo 2014

From 2014 manufacturers, suppliers, retailers and end users of pumps, compressors and seals will have their own specialist forum in Düsseldorf: 2 and 3 December 2014 will see the holding of the first Pump Seminar & Summit at the Stadthalle at Düsseldorf fairgrounds.

Held in parallel to Düsseldorf’s 3rd edition of Valve World Expo 2014, the concurrence of the valve and pump trade fairs generates valuable synergies for experts in both sectors.

The pump trade fair is accompanied by a seminar with speakers dealing with themes like energy efficiency, engineer recruitment in the future, fugitive emissions, sealing technology, purchasing, servicing and other topics.

The Pump Seminar & Summit will offer some 60 exhibition stands on net exhibition space of 2,000 m2 at the Stadthalle at Düsseldorf fairgrounds. The relaxed setting is to provide an exchange forum for new technologies and expertise.

Specialists from the fields of pump and pump systems from various industries will meet in Düsseldorf with the aim of optimising pump applications in terms of safety, performance, reliability and cost to heighten global awareness in the sector about the use of the right pump and the right pump accessories. A particular focus of the trade fair and seminar will be markets such as water & waste water, housing technology, food & drink industry, mining, (petro) chemical industry, oil & gas, energy generation, pharmaceutical industry, ship building, paper & cellulose industry and engineering & contracting.

The Pump Seminar & Summit is planned to be held as an annual event with alternating focal themes. For the premiere in December 2014 – in parallel to Valve World Expo – everything will revolve around the fields of water and waste water and in 2015 the focus will lie on the oil and gas sector when the Pump Seminar & Summit will feature as a single event.
