PSG Completes Acquisition of Ebsray Pumps

Pump Solutions Group announces the acquisition of Ebsray Pumps Pty. Limited, located in Brookvale, Australia. Ebsray, a manufacturer of pumps for a wide range of industrial applications, will become part of PSG’s Blackmer operation.

Founded in the late 1930 s, Ebsray is a leader in the design and manufacture of regenerative turbine and positive displacement pump technologies, including sliding vane and gear. Ebsray’s pumps are ideal for LPG, chemical, general industrial and military markets. The brand is well recognized throughout the world and as a leader in Australia, Southeast Asia and Europe.

“This acquisition is consistent with our strategic vision to expand PSG’s presence in select vertical markets,” said Tom Madden, PSG Vice President and General Manager of Blackmer, the leading global brand of innovative and high-quality rotary vane and centrifugal pump, and reciprocating compressor technologies for the transfer of liquids and gasses. “Ebsray’s pump technologies complement Blackmer’s and PSG’s current portfolio of pumps, and extends our ability to provide customers with the best possible solutions to meet the widest range of applications.”

Ebsray Pump’s product lines include the following:

  • Sliding Vane Pumps – highly efficient, self-priming pumps that automatically compensate for wear, and provide a high operational efficiency over a long service life
  • Regenerative Turbine Pumps – specifically designed for low flow, high head applications such as those found in LPG, propane and butane installations
  • Internal Gear Pumps – provide excellent self-priming capabilities, quiet operation, continuous flow, and ease of operation in a wide range of general purpose applications
  • Other Pumps & Products – Ebsray also manufactures Helical External Gear Pumps, Bypass Valves, Suction Strainers and maintenance and repair services
