The latest report came in an annual survey of design engineers by Design

News and Global Design News. Design News circulates in the U.S., while Global

Design News reaches engineers in design centers outside the United States.

The survey asked 6,000 readers of the magazines to rank companies in

several product categories by best technology, most competitive pricing and

best customer services, then to pick an overall industry leader. It was the

third straight year that Parker was rated number one in the fluid power

category in the magazines' Best Global Suppliers survey.
