PFA Lined Gear Pumps Meet the Challenge at Lower Cost

Safely transferring aggressive liquids, such as inorganic acids, bases and salts, requires a pump with features including non-metallic wetted parts and characteristics such as zero leakage. To meet these challenges, Liquiflo have developed their range of magnetically driven PFA lined gear pumps which avoid the expense associated with pumps made from expensive alloys or exotic metals.

    The first-half results of the Georg Fischer Corporation reflect the global crisis in the markets. Sales were 39% below the level reported in the excellent first six months of 2008. The operating result (EBIT) comes to CHF –122 million, a figure that includes CHF 59 million in one-off special charges for the current structural programme.

    SAER is expanding its range of submersible pumps with the 14″ pumps series S-350. The pumps can be used for capacities until 700 m3/h at 2900 1/min and untill 450 m3/h at 1450 1/min.
