Use cases often include needing to meter small and micro-quantities precisely, apply a highly dynamic metering profile or handle a range of different processes. In addition, many users are looking for low-wear pumps with minimal maintenance as a standalone solution. Micro-metering pumps, which are highly compact, flexible and reliable, are ideal for such cases.

Celeros Flow Technology (Celeros FT) is contributing to the decarbonization of offshore oil & gas operations in the North Sea. The company has successfully secured a contract to provide two new water injection packages, including the electric motors and variable frequency drives (VFDs), for the AKER/OKEA power from shore project off the coast of Norway.

Atlas Copco recently introduced a new innovative solution for the beer bottling process – the Beer Foam Separator (BFS 900). Built to be used in combination with its industry 4.0 ready GHS VSD+ screw vacuum pump, the addition of the beer foam separator is primed to improve energy efficiency, reduce lifecycle costs and lower the rejection rate of over and underfilled bottles in the process.

Alternative approaches to phosphorus removal at rural wastewater treatment works are being explored in an innovation project led by United Utilities. The ALT-P project, for which Spring Innovation is the knowledge-sharing partner, received funding through Ofwat’s inaugural Water Breakthrough Challenge in 2021.
