The decarbonisation of industry is one of the biggest challenges facing Germany as a business location in the coming years. The mechanical and plant engineering sector will play a key role as an important solution provider. This is because applications in process technology are particularly in demand to produce the required green hydrogen. Many related suppliers are gathering this week at the world’s leading trade fair for the process industry, ACHEMA 2024, in Frankfurt am Main.

Given these advantages, it is no wonder that foamed plastics have taken the market by storm in recent years. They are mainly used as packaging components and for shock absorption, thermal insulation and soundproofing.

From June 10 to 14, 2024, the international process industry will come together once again at ACHEMA in Frankfurt am Main. Amarinth announces an order for the FPSO Agogo, currently under construction by Yinson Production and destined for offshore Angola. The customer, a Norwegian company specialising in energy recovery and water treatment solutions for the offshore oil and gas sector, has placed an order with Amarinth for the FPSO Agogo, currently under construction by Yinson Production in Malaysia.

From varnish and sealants up to lubricants: Whenever users in industry want to pump large quantities of highly viscous media, they run the risk of altering the quality and integrity of the pumped liquids. Lutz Pumpen has developed the solution to this problem. Its new TR series wobble plate pumps enable the sensitive pumping of up to 30,000 litres of highly viscous liquids per hour. This new development will be on display at Achema 2024.

EBARA BOMBAS AMÉRICA DO SUL LTDA. (EBAS), a group company of EBARA CORPORATION, has provided drainage pumps to the affected areas to help in recovery efforts following the heavy rain damage in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil.

The system brings new advantages to the market’s most efficient UV treatment solution, from enhanced performance in challenging waters to further power savings and simpler installation. Deliveries of PureBallast 3 Ultra will begin in Q3 2025.
