  • Wilo Select Online available on the Web

    The online version of Wilo’s pump selection software is now available for customers and other interested people, too. This package was been developed by Wilo’s longstanding software partner VSX. It provides the pump selection directly in the web browser without any software installation. By input of the technical parameters one get a list of suitable pumps. The performance curves will be converted for the operating conditions. Further there is a complete documentation for each pump with specification, dimensioning drawing, wiring diagram and more.

    ABS is protecting the Baltic Sea with the largest submersible pumps ever built

    Water treatment is a vital process to protect the environment, and the waste water treatment plant in Tallinn, Estonia, has a key role in the environmental protection of the Baltic Sea. ABS delivered pumps, mixers and agitators for the refurbishment of the plant in 1998. A further shipment has just been made with a follow-up order for the main pumping station, including two of the largest submersible pumps ever built.

    Zero-leakage, high-efficiency ring-section pump

    Frankenthal-based KSB is introducing a newly engineered multistage pump for the leakless-pump sector. While that segment of the market is becoming more and more important, it is still extensively populated by single-stage pump sets which are of simpler design but markedly poorer efficiency. From the end of February, Multimagno mag-drive pumps covering discharge heads of = 150 m and flow rates of = 30 m3/h will be significantly enhancing that segment.

    The R. VOGEL – RESEARCH LABORATORY takes on research and development tasks as well as complex engineering services and the evaluation of available machine and plant studies.

    The lab provides competent consultancy and assessment with expert’s knowledge.

    A special focus of the research points to rheometrical investigations of all “debris fluids” (mixtures of fluids and solids) independent from the type of binder.
