Olivier Blachier is New Head of Business Development

As part of BOC Edwards’ ongoing implementation of its business strategy for materials & services around the world, Olivier Blachier was recently appointed as head of business development, materials & services (M&S).

In this role, Blachier will continue to define and implement a consolidated services strategy across BOC Edwards; be responsible for the strategic alignment of BOC Edwards business units to the M&S objectives; and finally, pursue external growth opportunities by supporting BOC Edwards merger and acquisition activities.

Blachier holds an MS in fluid mechanics and chemical engineering from the National Polytechnique Institute of Grenoble. In the last seven years with BOC Edwards, he has held several international roles focused on applications and product marketing management, business development and business line management. He will relocate to BOC Edwards’ Crawley, UK, office in August 2003.

BPMA Welcomes its New President

Lee Tebbatt, Managing Director of Wilo UK has been announced as the new President of the British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA), following a two-year tenure in the role of Vice President. The position was officially passed on during the BPMA’s Annual General Meeting and follows the two-year term in office by the previous President, Dale Croker, Managing Director of KSB UK.
