Nickolas Vande Steeg Elected to Parker Hannifin Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Parker Hannifin Corporation announced the election of Nickolas W. Vande Steeg, age 61, as a member.

Vande Steeg is Parker's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for all of the company's industrial groups, and has been in this role since October 1, 2003.

Parker Chairman of the Board Duane Collins said, "Nick has provided excellent executive leadership and has delivered exceptional results throughout his 34-year career at Parker. We think Nick makes a great addition to our board."

Vande Steeg began his career at Parker in 1971 and has served in a number of management positions, including president of the company's Seal Group and most recently as Corporate Senior Vice President & Operating Officer. He graduated from California State University with a degree in industrial engineering and holds an MBA from Pepperdine University. He is a board member for Trimble Navigation Limited in Sunnyvale, CA, and serves on the board of trustees of Azusa Pacific University.
