Robbins & Myers announced that Saeid Rahimian has been appointed president of the newly formed Robbins & Myers Fluid Management Group, which includes Moyno and R&M Energy Systems.

Robbins & Myers has engaged in this realignment by combining product lines and technology to benefit a growing and shared customer base with increased and more effective utilization of manufacturing capacity and engineering resources. “This realignment will allow us to more efficiently deploy resources and share information to greatly benefit our customers,” Saeid Rahimian, President, Robbins & Myers Fluid Management Group said.

Mr. Rahimian joined Robbins & Myers in 1983 as Product Design Engineer in the Fluids Handling Division of Robbins & Myers. He was subsequently transferred to the Oilfield Division in 1984 where he served in various management positions including Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Product and General Management, and as the President of R&M Energy Systems.

In his new role, Mr. Rahimian, as President of the newly formed Robbins & Myers Fluid Management Group, has responsibility for over 1,100 employees with annual revenues in excess of $200 million. The Robbins & Myers Fluid Management Group has operations in more than 20 locations and 10 countries.

Mr. Rahimian holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Evansville and a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University. In 2003, he successfully completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
